- Pro: £50/month - 650 questions per month
- Business: £100/month - 1500 questions per month
5.2 Billing Terms Summary
- Recurring Charges: Subscriptions auto-renew monthly unless cancelled
- Payment Method: We use Stripe for secure payment processing
- Failed Payments: If payment fails, we will attempt recovery and notify you via email
- Price Changes: We will notify you 30 days before any price increases
- No Refunds: All payments are non-refundable, but you can cancel anytime

6. Acceptable Use Policy

7.2 Your Content
You retain ownership of the questions you submit ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a license to:
- Process your questions to provide responses
- Store your conversation history for your access
- Use anonymized data to improve the Service
7.3 AI-Generated Responses
AI-generated responses are provided for your personal use only. You may not:
- Republish responses for commercial purposes
- Use responses to train competing AI models
- Claim responses as your own work
8. Data Protection and Privacy
Your use of Regulus is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. We comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

9. Limitation of Liability

9.1 No Liability for Tax Decisions
We are NOT liable for any tax penalties, fines, interest, or other consequences resulting from:
- Reliance on information provided by the Service
- Inaccurate or incomplete AI-generated responses
- Outdated tax law information
- Misunderstanding or misapplication of tax guidance
9.2 Service Availability
We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free service. We are not liable for:
- Service downtime or technical issues
- Data loss due to technical failures
- Third-party service interruptions (Stripe, OpenAI, hosting)
9.3 Maximum Liability
Our total liability to you for any claims arising from your use of Regulus shall not exceed the amount you paid us in subscription fees during the 12 months preceding the claim.
9.4 Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Regulus Ltd from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your use of the Service
- Your violation of any third-party rights
10. Warranty Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

11. Account Termination
11.1 Termination by You
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your billing portal. Your data will be retained for 90 days after cancellation, then permanently deleted.
11.2 Termination by Us
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or illegal activity
- Abuse the Service or other users
- Fail to pay subscription fees after multiple attempts
11.3 Effect of Termination
Upon termination:
- Your access to the Service is immediately revoked
- You lose access to your conversation history
- No refunds are provided for unused time
- Your data is deleted after the retention period (90 days)
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by:

- Updating the "Last Updated" date
- Sending an email notification for significant changes
Your continued use of Regulus after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
13.2 Dispute Resolution
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through:
- Good faith negotiation between you and Regulus Ltd
- Mediation (if negotiation fails)
- Courts of England and Wales (if mediation fails)
13.3 Jurisdiction
You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales for any legal proceedings.
14. Miscellaneous
14.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Regulus Ltd regarding your use of the Service.
14.2 Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full effect.
14.3 No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision of these Terms does not constitute a waiver of that provision.
14.4 Assignment
You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your account. We may assign our rights and obligations without notice.
14.5 Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services (Stripe, OpenAI). Your use of those services is subject to their respective terms and policies.
